Red-Heads

Have you ever noticed how many times the heroine in a romance novel is a green-eyed red-head?  I think that happens because there aren’t that many of them so they are a novelty. They always seem to have a feisty attitude and are beautiful. I’m not sure if that has anything with their gene pool or the author’s fantasy. Continue reading “Red-Heads”

Inspirations

To those who have a deployed member or have paid the ultimate sacrifice, I salute you. You are what makes this country free and you are the ones that understand what the U.S. flag means to those who fight for it. Thank you! Continue reading “Whole Family Serves”

Breast Reconstruction Awareness

So far I am one of the lucky ones. I have not had to deal personally with the emotional journey of breast cancer. It is still easy for me to say aloud what treatment I would choose if I had to, but a very close RN friend of mine has told me, “When it happens to you, the diagnosis does funny things to your head.” Continue reading “Breast Reconstruction Awareness”
